Materials Engineering • M.Tech, IISc Bangalore
Applying computational modeling and advanced characterization to solve challenges in energy and structural materials.
About Me

I am pursuing an M.Tech in Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where I combine computational modelling and experimental characterization to study material behavior across length scales.
My M.Tech research develops Crystal Plasticity Finite Element (CPFE) models in Abaqus to investigate irradiation-induced damage in Fe–Cr alloys and predict temperature-dependent deformation. During my undergraduate studies at VNIT, I developed and characterized CZTS absorber layers for thin-film solar cells using electrodeposition and techniques such as XRD and SEM.
I also have industry experience in process optimization at JSW Steel, which gives me a practical, production-oriented perspective. I am looking to apply my skills in computational modelling, materials characterization, and process improvement to R&D challenges in energy and structural materials.
